"Shaping Memory" is an exhibition of works created by manipulating materials, fusing new with found elements, repurposed in a context that breathes new existence and demeanor into a variety of mediums.

Christophe works with a focus on sitespecific, architectural art installations that often integrate a range of media. Interjecting a sense of narrative into his creations, his recent work explores the ideas of biomimicry (abstracting natural systems) utilizing found or salvaged materials.

Raul begins by working with paint, making cuts on canvas, and then fills those gaps by embroidering with cotton thread; adding texture in an attempt to find life and movement, by creating a more dynamic surface. The combinations of colors represent emotions and interpretations for each individual interacting with the works, and the embroidery is meant to represent those experiences as a part of our DNA.
