Clara Kim is a Korean-American sculptor based in Chicago. Her sculptural investigations into household objects consider personal space in relationship to our possessions. Because of this, Kim believes that viewer interaction crucial to understanding her work. By getting involved with her objects, the participant becomes part of the space of the work.
Kim received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Sculpture.
